This is a luxurious weekend retreat, designed to help you slow down, replenish your energy, lean into restorative wellness treatments, and reconnect with yourself during the transition into the fall season and the darker days of winter ahead.

As the season shifts, we’re asked to slow down, to move mindfully, rest deeply, reflect intentionally, and gather in community. And that is exactly what this retreat hones in on... You’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired, and more connected — to your body, to others, and to the natural rhythm of autumn — ready to welcome the quiet of winter and the fresh year ahead.

Our home for the weekend is Dimensions Algonquin Highlands — a luxury retreat center set on a serene, 45-acre lakeside property edged by canopied forests. The land itself is therapeutic: secluded nature trails, forest installations, and open water create the perfect backdrop for stillness, meaningful conversations, and deep restoration.

Guests will stay in beautiful private cabins (single or double occupancy), each thoughtfully designed with comfort and calm in mind.

 

Chef-driven meals, spa-inspired amenities, and a range of seasonal outdoor experiences elevate the entire weekend — think; morning Yoga Flows inside their domed biosphere, evenings winding down with a serene sound bath, afternoon guided sauna and cold-plunge experience, hikes through the forest, and curling up with a good book in the comfort of your cozy cabin.

For added indulgence, guests can enjoy luxury wellness treatments, including Floatation Therapy (sensory deprivation), BioSound Therapy, and/or additional body work sessions— all designed to support a profound reset of mind, body, and spirit.

Yoga & Mindful Movement

Each day we’ll gather for movement, meditation, and reflection in Dimensions’ beautiful domed biosphere — a light-filled space surrounded by forest. If weather permits, we may also practice outdoors, on the dock. 

Mornings will offer energizing Vinyasa Flow and other forms of Mindful Movement, building heat, strength, and focus through repetition, balance work, and guided pranayama.

Evenings will shift into gentle Yin, Restorative practices, Yoga Nidra and a dreamy Sound Bath experience for our first night. 

Every class is thoughtfully designed around our retreat theme, offering space for inspiration, introspection, and inner clarity. This retreat is open to all levels — whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice.

 

Food

Sharing meals together is one of the sweetest parts of retreat life — a chance to slow down, savour, and connect in community.

 

Meals at Dimensions are chef-driven, seasonal, and designed to nourish you from the inside out. Each dish is crafted with care, balancing comfort, freshness, and nutrition to support your practice and overall wellbeing throughout the weekend.

You can expect vibrant, flavourful meals rooted in whole-food ingredients — think warming soups, hearty grains and pulses, colourful salads, beautifully spiced curries, fresh-baked breads, and wholesome desserts. Every plate is both satisfying and light, helping you feel energized, grounded, and well-fed.

THURSDAY (option to add this 3rd night, more time to land and rest)

time for spa treatments of choice 

6:00 PM: Dinner

FRIDAY

9:00am - Breakfast

time to relax, take a nature walk, enjoy a spa treatment

1:00pm - Lunch 

3:00 - 6:00 PM: Arrival for all guests 

6:00 PM: Welcome Dinner

7:30 PM: Opening Yin Practice & Sound Bath 

SATURDAY

7:30 AM: Morning Yoga / Practice 

9:00 AM: Breakfast

11:00 AM: Guided Forest Hike & Nature Bathing 

10:00am - 1:00pm - enjoy your scheduled spa treatments included

1:00 PM: Lunch

2:00-6:00pm - scheduled treatments continue 

4:00 PM: Guided Cold Plunge & Sauna (by the lake, optional) 

6:00 PM: Dinner

8:00 PM: Yoga Nidra Meditation

(or tbd bon fire, weather permitted & group's vote) 

SUNDAY

7:30 AM: Morning Yoga / Practice & Closing Circle 

10:00 AM: Brunch

11:00 AM: check out

Things to know
& What's Included 

  • Private luxury cabin accommodation with ensuite bathroom, soaker tub, and walk-in shower (single or double occupancy)

  • All meals beginning with dinner on arrival day, 3 meals on Saturday, and brunch on departure day (organic, seasonal, chef-driven)

  • Healthy snacks, Tea & Coffee available throughout the day

  • Daily Yoga with Madison (as per schedule) 

  • One Bodywork Spa Treatment: RMT, Lymphatic Drainage, Reiki, and more to choose from  (60mins); 

  • One individual therapeutic session of your choice (30mins); 

    • BioSound Therapy (biofeedback) 

      • OR

    • Indoor Floatation Therapy (sensory-deprivation float tank) 

  • Evening Sound Bath 

  • Guided cold plunge & sauna (optional, lakefront) 

  • Group Forest Walk & any guided group activities 

  • Access to outdoor adventure equipment, such as canoes & kayaks. 

OPTIONAL ADD ONs / Not Included: 

  • Additional 3rd night at Dimensions on the Thursday night

  • Additional bodywork session, with their on-site RMTs, Thai massage therapists, Reiki, and more. 

  • Transportation to and from the retreat center (carpools potentially available)

Meet Your Host

Madison has been teaching Yoga for over 10 years and leading retreats for the past 6, bringing the same care and storytelling instinct she honed as a television producer into every experience.

On the mat, she guides participants through creative Yoga sequences, mindful movement, with hands-on support, helping each person connect to their breath, body, and mind. Off the mat, she brings warmth and presence to every part of the weekend—connecting with guests over meals, leading forest walks, hosting crafting sessions, and running evening games. 

Madison’s retreats are designed to inspire reflection, growth, and meaningful connection. Her hope is that what is practiced on retreat becomes something participants carry home: clarity, strength, and a deeper sense of connection in everyday life.

  • $2,100 + HST — for 2 nights, Single Occupancy Private Cabin
